Some of our happy volunteers at a recent pruning weekend

The Don Gordon Garden Room not only provides a library of books on roses and gardening but also a haven for the hard working volunteers to have their morning tea on Monday and Tuesday.  They can enjoy a cup of tea and a chat with each other and get updates on rose growing and care.

Social outings are also organised and get a good response from the volunteers.

The ambiance of the room and the happy approach of our volunteer team make it a very enjoyable experience for anyone looking to do a couple of hours a week volunteering.

New Volunteers

We are alway needing additional volunteers to help with the many tasks in the garden.
If you are interest then  please go to our ‘Contact Us’ page and provide your details via email.
ANY help, no matter how short the time,  you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Activities By Volunteers

The following are a few of the tasks that volunteers can get involved in:

❖ Garden Bed Maintenance including pruning , ‘dead heading’, weeding & plant feeding.
❖ Assisting in sausage sizzle at Bunnings for very important fund raising.
❖ Assisting with Hi-Tea’s held at different times during the year (see Events for the next planned Hi-Tea)
